Heidi Swanby

Heidi is a born and raised Calgarian with a passion for education, mental health and NUMBERS.

She completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Calgary and she proved her love for numbers by completing her Master’s of Mathematics through the University of Waterloo.
She is a professional educator with over 12 years of experience; many of those years were invested working with students with learning disabilities including anxiety, dyslexia and ADHD.
She is committed to promoting lifelong learning for both students and teachers by providing them with the individualized skill set required to achieve their personal and educational goals.

When she's not raising her two children or propagating every plant in the house, she's moulding her husband into the perfect learner. Heidi is a big fan of using humour and laughter to connect with her clients. She can quickly build trusting and lasting relationships with everyone from students, parents, and teachers.

Eryn

Eryn comes to Insight with teaching experience in all grades from preschool to grade 12. while she loves helping students develop skills in all areas, seeing students fall in love with reading and writing holds a special place in her heart.

Eryn earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education in British Columbia prior to moving to Calgary with her family in 2014.

Eryn has spent time working students with a variety of learning needs and in addition to her love of education, is a passionate advocate for mental health and neurodiverse learners.

She is an avid reader, chai tea and chocolate lover and in her free time she can be found exploring new trails in Kananaskis with her husband and her two amazing children.

Stephanie

Stephanie is a born and raised Calgarian with a passion for helping her students succeed. She is a competitive gymnastics coach turned teacher.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University and her Bachelor of Education at the University of Calgary. While her current assignment is teaching middle school humanities, she loves helping students in developing strategies to help them succeed in all areas!

Stephanie is committed to finding ways to help learners become confident and excited about learning. Stephanie has a strong love of coffee and the sunshine and having two small kids at home as well as two dogs both are a necessity. She spends as much time as she can with her kids and husband taking in all the city has to offer.
